Taboola + M4trix

Taboola and M4trix are ready to track using Kintura.

Below we'll outline how to track conversions of M4trix offers with traffic from Taboola using Kintura. Please note that our session token {cid} is unique to Kintura. If you need help with another tracker let us know!

  1. Taboola

    Traffic Source Campaign URL

    If you intend on sending traffic source postbacks, get the External ID using extid={click_id}.

    Recommended tokens (those that can be optimized) are as follows: 

    https://yourtrackingurl?site_id={site_id}&campaign_id={campaign_id}&camp_item_id={campaign_item_id}

    Other variables you might want to track:

  2. M4trix

    Affiliate Network Offer URL

    M4trix wants us to pass our Kintura {cid} to their offers using this query-string format: 

    https://yourofferurl?cid={cid}
  3. M4trix

    Affiliate Network Postback

    We're going to tell M4trix to send our conversion postbacks to: 

    https://track.kintura.io/conversion?cid={cid}&payout={payout}&txid={orderid}
  4. Taboola

    Traffic Source Postback

    If you want to let Taboola know about your conversions, be sure to enable server to server traffic source postbacks with their external id (passed in the first step as {click_id}) which will now be place in Kintura's {externalid} traffic source postback token: 

    https://trc.taboola.com/actions-handler/log/3/s2s-action?click-id={externalid}&revenue={payout}&name=REQUIRED_EVENT_NAME
