Traffic Source + Affiliate Network

MGID + MaxBounty

MGID and MaxBounty are ready to track using Kintura.

Below we'll outline how to track conversions of MaxBounty offers with traffic from MGID using Kintura. Please note that our session token {cid} is unique to Kintura. If you need help with another tracker let us know!

  1. MGID

    Traffic Source Campaign URL

    If you intend on sending traffic source postbacks, get the External ID using extid={click_id}. Auto Cost Tracking can be set using cost={click_price}.

    Recommended tokens (those that can be optimized) are as follows:

    https://yourtrackingurl?widget_id={widget_id}&category_id={category_id}&teaser_id={teaser_id}

    Other variables you might want to track:

    https://yourtrackingurl?campaign_id={campaign_id}&geo={geo}

  2. MaxBounty

    Affiliate Network Offer URL

    MaxBounty wants us to pass our Kintura {cid} to their offers using this query-string format:

    https://yourofferurl?s1={cid}
  3. MaxBounty

    Affiliate Network Postback

    We're going to tell MaxBounty to send our conversion postbacks to:

    http://track.kintura.io/conversion?cid=#S1#&payout=#RATE#
  4. MGID

    Traffic Source Postback

    If you want to let MGID know about your conversions, be sure to enable server to server traffic source postbacks with their external id (passed in the first step as {click_id}) which will now be place in Kintura's {externalid} traffic source postback token:

    http://a.mgid.com/postback?c={externalid}&e=CONVERSIONEVENTNAME&r={payout}
