Traffic Source + Affiliate Network

ExoClick + XY7

ExoClick and XY7 are ready to track using Kintura.

Below we'll outline how to track conversions of XY7 offers with traffic from ExoClick using Kintura. Please note that our session token {cid} is unique to Kintura. If you need help with another tracker let us know!

  1. ExoClick

    Traffic Source Campaign URL

    If you intend on sending traffic source postbacks, get the External ID using extid={conversions_tracking}. Auto Cost Tracking can be set using cost={actual_cost}.

    Recommended tokens (those that can be optimized) are as follows:

    https://yourtrackingurl?zoneid={zone_id}&campid={campaign_id}&creaid={variation_id}&sitenm={src_hostname}&catego={category_id}

    Other variables you might want to track:

    https://yourtrackingurl?ctcode={country}

  2. XY7

    Affiliate Network Offer URL

    XY7 wants us to pass our Kintura {cid} to their offers using this query-string format:

    https://yourofferurl?SID={cid}
  3. XY7

    Affiliate Network Postback

    We're going to tell XY7 to send our conversion postbacks to:

    http://track.kintura.io/conversion?cid=[=SID=]&payout=[=AffiliateCommission=]&txid=[=_TransID=]
  4. ExoClick

    Traffic Source Postback

    If you want to let ExoClick know about your conversions, be sure to enable server to server traffic source postbacks with their external id (passed in the first step as {conversions_tracking}) which will now be place in Kintura's {externalid} traffic source postback token:

    http://main.exoclick.com/tag.php?goal=GOAL_ID&tag={externalid}
